I’ve never met anyone like anyone else
The more you know, the less we’re comparable,
Each as unique as our pheromone smells
Like each moment, endlessly
Reproductive, repetitive, yet original in subtlety;
I can’t let your dreams get to me.
There are infinite sides of the bed to wake upon,
Who’s to say which are right or wrong
When all return to the night
We’re far, far gone.
If I can make it through this week,
Maybe I can build a life
With no experience in construction
Only ancestors to critique.
Some days I’m at war just getting myself to show up
So I have to believe the moments of peace are worthwhile
To keep some truth left in my smile.
Just when you think you’ve seen it all go down,
It all up and changes,
Then your vision blurs to staticky;
Mkae friends with the strangeness.
